Fashion-based Web & Graphic Designer
We are a rapidly expanding Bournemouth-based online company specializing in high-end lingerie and lifestyle products, and are currently recruiting a middleweight web & graphic designer for our fast-expanding team
The ideal candidate would be already involved in digital design and visual presentation for the fashion sector; being able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of fashion trends and styling, as well as a good working knowledge of all aspects of web-based projects. Since we operate within an online environment you will need to have a clear understanding of the build process and the commercial requirements of an e-commerce website.
They will have a minimum of 1 year’s web design experience working ideally on fashion-based e-commerce websites.
They should be self motivated and work well in a team of likeminded professionals. Strong communication skills are essential as they will be required to work within a studio team environment, as well as with our buying, SEO and programming teams. They must also have a excellent command of English Language.
They will be required to demonstrate knowledge of usability, Search Engines, CMS and designing for multiple platforms. Excellent attention to detail is vital. They must be able to fully prepare assets for build in an organised, thorough and accurate manner; able to think from the consumers point of view. Must be passionate about digital communications and have a good understanding of new media communication; have the ability to think clearly, be well organised and self-motivated.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role.
Key Skills
- Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, and the usual design tools!
