French Knickers offer a unique twist on a lady’s undergarment. Resting from the hip to the top of the thigh, French knickers are traditionally a little loose fitting, in contrast to the other ladies knicker styles. You may have noticed a new face at BeCheeky.com, that of our gorgeous new model, Merissa!

With a new face, new photographer and new location we decided to go behind the scenes to give you the low down on what really goes on behind the scenes of a lingerie shoot!

The 8.30am kick off goes well with Merissa arriving on set naturally fresh faced and ready for her session in hair and make up. A test shot is done at the beginning of each new lingerie change, with product codes to help us catalogue the image later. Merissa looks flawless, even on this one below that wouldn’t normally get a public airing!

A short while later, a new lingerie set calls for a new hair do for Merissa, while our stylists and buyers work their magic with the addition of a few strategic props to add a little mood and character. After lunch, Merissa gets a shock when an interesting feather prop appears…!

Luckily it’s just the team being cheeky with a joke one, before we let her have fun with the real thing!

Following many lingerie changes, photos and tea and biscuit breaks, the shoot finishes at 5pm with Merissa still looking as stunning as ever as she leaves us to go off to practice her singing. - This girl’s not just a pretty face, but a trained up classical singer too don’t you know?!

We recently spotted this uplifting story (’scuse the pun!) on goodnews website, The Optimist, discussing how you can use your old bras to help others. Laserase and Oxfam are uniting to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care and the Royal Bolton Breast Care Unit, in memory of Alyson Porter, who recently lost her own battle against breast cancer while campaigning for wider NHS availability of the cancer fighting drug Herceptin.

To support the cause simply donate any unwanted bras along with a £1 donation to your local Oxfam, where the bras will be passed on to women in the developing world and the money raised will be split equally between Alyson’s favourite charity, Breast Cancer Care and the Royal Bolton Breast Care Unit.
