1. If you live with your partner, offer to do the laundry and check out her bra size (e.g 34B, 36C, 36DD...) and knicker size you can take this from dresses or trousers too (e.g. 10, 12, 14, 16...)!

2. If you don’t live together and offering to do her laundry would make you seem like a weird stalker, then next time you’re in her bedroom, take a sneaky peak at her sizes when she nips to the bathroom!

3. There’s nothing sexier than a woman who feels sexy! Choose lingerie styles that suit her and you know she will feel comfortable in – there’s no point in buying her an open front thong if you know she’d rather have sexy French knickers – even if you would like to see her in one! You know what she wears to impress you so find something similar – Christmas is not the time to be experimental - at least not with her present!

4. Get the set! If you’re buying lingerie, get the set – bra, matching boy short AND matching thong (for different occasions – she will love that you’ve thought of it!), plus hold-ups look great, especially with darker coloured lingerie. If you’re buying suspenders, make sure you buy stockings (not hold-ups) with them. If you’ve opted for jewellery, a necklace for example, don’t forget the matching bracelet and earrings.

5. Think of her personality before you buy – is she cute and girly? Confident and sexy? Fun and tom-boyish? Choose styles and colours that you think she will love.
