Our Story

Launched late 2005, BeCheeky.com filled a gap left by the big lingerie stores and websites by helping men buy lingerie for their partners.

We started with a small range of fun but sexy thongs and g-strings and have since evolved into the expansive site you see today. Our wide range of lingerie sets, bras, knickers, boyshorts, corsets, basques, bikinis and swimsuits ensures there’s something for all tastes and all pockets.

We’ve recently added men’s underwear and swimwear so there’s something for the girls to treat their guys to, besides themselves, in the latest lingerie

Here at BeCheeky.com, we like to have fun. It’s part of our Brand Values and its part of our raison d’être.

Located between Bournemouth & Poole, we have lots of opportunity to enjoy the sunshine: we work hard and play hard.

Our buyers, Andrea and Sarah scour the world looking for unique and unusual lingerie and swimwear to add a little individuality to our product range

Who Are BeCheeky?

The award-winning BeCheeky.com is a privately owned company run by husband and wife team Sarah and James Akin-Smith with a dedicated team of 15 great colleagues. BeCheeky.com is backed by several well known City entrepreneurs and successful online retailers, including:

Quentin Griffiths, (founder of AIM listed online fashion retailers ASOS.com, EBTM.com and Adili.com) and Mark Blandford (founder of Sportingbet plc and former winner of AIM Entrepreneur of Year). Highly respected venture capital firm YFM Group are also investors in the business.
