When it comes to buying lingerie, size does matter!

i) Snoop around her underwear drawer to look at the labels on her other lingerie. Yes boys, it's allowed - this time!
ii) Look at her day-to-day bras and knickers whilst they are out drying from the wash, this will give you an idea of what size is most comfortable for her.
A handy tip on bra sizes is that they are always a number and letter combination – the number indicating the back size and the letter indicating the cup size – so try to spot these on any bra labels and make a note!
Once you have found out her all-important stats, refer to our sizing chart to find out what will be the most perfect fit.
Finally, without wanting to complicate matters, look out for which country the lingerie you're considering comes from. French brands such as Lola Luna and Luxxa will tend to come up a little small in fit, whilst American brands like Dreamgirl will tend to be a bit more generous. Choosing the right style is important but tricky as there are no hard and fast rules, it literally comes down to personal taste, so look out and pay attention! Ultimately you are buying a gift for her, but lingerie is a treat for you too. Try and strike a balance between something you think she will like and something that you're keen on as well.
